Use of infection control methods in endodontic treatment among dentists in Herat city

زمینه و هدف: کنترل انتان در جریان تداوی های اندودنتیک به‌منظور حذف عوامل انتانی داخل کانال و جلوگیری از ورود عوامل انتانی بیرونی به داخل کانال یکی از اساسی‌ترین اهداف اندودنتیک است. داکتران دندان می‌بایست پروتکل‌ها را رعایت و تطبیق نمایند و ناآگاهی یا عدم رعایت موارد کنترل انتان می‌تواند تأثیرات منفی بر انذار تداوی در کوتاه‌مدت یا طولانی‌مدت داشته باشد. هدف اساسی این تحقیق بررسی میزان استفاده از روش‌های کنترل انتان در تداوی های اندودنتیک توسط داکتران در شهر هرات بوده است.
روش بررسی: در این تحقیق توصیفی به تعداد 200 نفر از داکتران دندان که در شهر هرات در نواحی مختلف مشغول فعالیت می‌باشند، جهت بررسی میزان استفاده از روش‌های کنترل انتان در تداوی های اندودنتیک از طریق پرسشنامه 47 سؤالی استفاده شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داتاها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS-21 صورت گرفته است.
یافته‌ها: یافته‌های این تحقیق نشان می‌دهد با اینکه 8/84% داکتران استفاده از رابردم را آموزش دیده‌اند ولی فقط 6/10% از آن در تداوی‌های خود مورد استفاده قرار می‌دهند، 2/65% از سدیم هایپوکلریت به‌عنوان ایریگیشن، 2/72% از سدیم‌هایپوکلریت و 1/11% از EDTA به‌عنوان لوبریکانت، 3/31% از کلسیم هایدروکساید و 2/22% از آنتی‌بیوتیک‌های (دهانی یا زرقی) به‌عنوان کنترل انتان در تداوی‌های روتین اندودنتیک استفاده می‌کنند.
نتیجه‌گیری: این تحقیق نشان می‌دهد که داکتران با تجربه کاری کمتر بیشتر با روش‌های کنترل انتان آشنایی داشته ولی تداوی‌های چندجانبه داکتر به کنترل انتان در سطح یکنواخت و دقیق توجه زیادی نمی‌شود و داکتران روش‌های مختلف را برمی‌گزینند که نیازمند آموزش بیشتر و سوق دادن داکتران به سمت تخصص‌های مسلکی و فرهنگ‌سازی است.
